List update!

Post by DUEL Psly FTA »

Ok, folks, here's the deal. I know of four people currently who have definite shifts for DoS, and that's only one per night. Now, we haven't really needed a whole lot of callers, especially with this being TDL season, but I'd like to get this updated and get some new folks calling some of these empty shifts. Even if it is just to sit in the room and read a book.

I see a lot of times where someone will go into a room, lurk for about fifteen minutes, and then split because there's no caller present. Honestly speaking, this sucks. Of course, I've run shifts where it's so quiet you could hear the electrons flowing through the hard drive. In any case, this is what I need.

1. Current shift/status (e.g., what day and time your shift is and if you're active or substitute.)

2. Preferred status. (e.g., whether you'd like to be a sub instead of active, or vice versa, or if you'd like to keep it the way it is.)

3. Preferred shift. (date/time/duration)

4. What you're currently cleared for. (DoS, DoF, DoM, challenges, tournaments, last-minute-megabrawls, etc.)

Now, I'm making this list for three reasons. One, it's required of me. Kidding. I'd really like to see some more people taking over shifts. Two, so we can get some kind of schedule down pat, or at least the bare bones for one. Three, because I'd like to give those burned out folks a break, and pare out the ones who've drifted out of communication, so to speak. No offense, but having a bunch of DUEL names and have half of them be just taking up space is, to me, wasteful of said space. Again, I know of four people with shifts for DoS, and I'm seeing about thirty on the records.

Yes, I'm wanting to hear from non-DoS callers as well, because we're all one big happy family and I'd like to know if any of them would want to be included on this list as well.
Remember, in the end, it's all moo.

Meaning it all gets munched on, spit up, chewed on for a while, swallowed, spit up again, chewed on some more, swallowed again, and dumped on the ground in big steaming piles.

1. Current shift/status (e.g., what day and time your shift is and if you're active or substitute.) I'm a substitute as it were.

2. Preferred status. (e.g., whether you'd like to be a sub instead of active, or vice versa, or if you'd like to keep it the way it is.): I'd like to remain a sub. I can't be a consistent active caller because of RL obligations at this point.

3. Preferred shift. (date/time/duration): I call when I can if I can. Generally I call Saturday nights from 8:00-10:30 EST. However, if needed I can sub on Friday nights if it's not too late (11 EST is too late)

4. What you're currently cleared for. (DoS, DoF, DoM, challenges, tournaments, last-minute-megabrawls, etc.): I'm cleared for DoS only. However, I am interested in calling for DoS challenges and DoS tournaments.

1) DoS, Fridays, 3 hours from 8-11pm ET. 9-12 would be a better shift for Fridays, but I cannot depend on staying focused that late.

2) I am content with my current shift. I always have been "Mr. Friday Night" with DoS.

3) DoS, Fridays, 2 hours from 8-10pm ET.

4) DoS only. I like calling Challenges but no one has asked in a long time. (hint, hint)

1. Current shift/status (e.g., what day and time your shift is and if you're active or substitute.)

Erratic schedule, and I'm swamped with projects which tends to make it hard for me to hold a regular shift, tho' I am always happy to sub.

2. Preferred status. (e.g., whether you'd like to be a sub instead of active, or vice versa, or if you'd like to keep it the way it is.):

Need to stay sub for time being. (Especially during TDL season)

3. Preferred shift. (date/time/duration):

n/a

4. What you're currently cleared for. (DoS, DoF, DoM, challenges, tournaments, last-minute-megabrawls, etc.):

DoS, DoF, tournaments, challenges, etc... I used to be able to call DoM many, many, many years ago to assist Connor upon occasion, but I do not believe I am currently cleared to call DoM.

I'd be happy to call more challenges and I try to be available for tournies as well.

I'm a sub, and would prefer to be a sub for the time being. I'm cleared for all things DoS and DoF.

I used to be cleared for DoS. . . under a different name of course.. I wouldn't be able to do any kind of regular night, but I could probably swing being a sub when I'm on and stuff. .

1. Current shift/status Sub. Used to do the 10-12 Saturday night shift.

2. Preferred status. Going to have to stick with sub for now.

3. Preferred shift. (date/time/duration) Wouldn't mind giving the Saturday night person a break every once in a while.

4. What you're currently cleared for. (DoS, DoF, DoM, challenges, tournaments, last-minute-megabrawls, etc.) DoS (tournaments and challenges), DoF, started off as a DoM caller (not sure if I'm still cleared for that but wouldn't mind calling it).

1. Current shift/status (e.g., what day and time your shift is and if you're active or substitute.)
Usually Mon-Fri I can call the late shifts, anything after or around 9pm est. Sat and Sun's are free to call whenever and however. As of right now. I am currently an active caller for all three forums.

2. Preferred status. (e.g., whether you'd like to be a sub instead of active, or vice versa, or if you'd like to keep it the way it is.)
I have no clue, I can call that's all I know, if you need me let me know, simple as that. Some have my number and can contact me that way. But if you are looking to tag me for a regular shift, either late late Friday nights or Sat and Sundays.

3. Preferred shift. (date/time/duration)
Bleh mebbe I'm mixing my thingies...M-F any time after 9pm est. Though that is an iffy kinda thing depending on work schedule and promotion float. Saturdays and Sundays as of the moment I can commit to a regular shift during the evenings at any time.

4. What you're currently cleared for. (DoS, DoF, DoM, challenges, tournaments, last-minute-megabrawls, etc.)
I'm cleared for everything in all three forums. Though I've never done a Mega Brawl, anything else I've done.

Already told you, but here it is anyway:

1. Thursday nights, 9-12.

2. active

3. I like my current shift

4. I call only DoS, challenges and tournaments -- haven't done many tourneys but only because I'm rarely asked to.

I said Challenges. One-on-one. :D

Seriously, I can also do tournaments. Ask Imp first, though. :D

1. Current shift/status (e.g., what day and time your shift is and if you're active or substitute.) Only current shift I have at this time is 8-10PM DoM shift on Monday(I split with Topaz)

2. Preferred status. (e.g., whether you'd like to be a sub instead of active, or vice versa, or if you'd like to keep it the way it is.) I would like to be considered active.

3. Preferred shift. (date/time/duration) At the moment, I can't set a shift for DoS...my work schedule changes from week to week but because of the holidays, the store stays open later..so I dont usually get out till 11 or so. The time will change after Christmas is over, then I can set one for DoS. I will update then.

4. What you're currently cleared for. (DoS, DoF, DoM, challenges, tournaments, last-minute-megabrawls, etc.) I'm cleared for DoM and DoS...have called a couple of matches in a mage tournament and some DoM challenges but nothing else. DoF I'm having a hard time getting a handle on...but maybe one day.
