DoF "Special Ring" Achievement Clarification

Hi folks!

There was a recent discussion in the Green Room regarding DoF's "Special" rings (Pit, Styx 2.0, Wheel, etc.) and when it's ok to request their corresponding achievements.

Long story short, the DoF Special Ring achievements predate the Bot. In pre-bot days, people could request a special ring from a caller, the caller could assign a special ring or duelers could just RP the ring. We don’t think the existence of the Bot should override people’s choice to duel in the Special Rings should they so choose, especially because they're only assigned on a percentage basis (and we've recently increased the % so hopefully they'll appear more often than before).

All that to say, if the Bot assigns you a generic ring, the duel's taking place in the Outback and both parties want to RP as if it's the Pit, have at it, and the achievement can be requested from such (in the achievement request, please do provide the RP chat/proof that the duel was in the Special Ring). No need to wait for the Bot to assign the ring in order to make the request.
