We can't have that, now, can we?

After a grueling set of matches in the Arena, Baron Gustavus G'nort Esplenade G'neesmacher Dragoon-Talanador the Third rode his horse down the cobblestone streets to his main source of business, the Golden Ivy Tavern.

Pushing through the doors, he grunted and groaned at the helpers, the boys who do the bellhopping, the girls behind the counter, and even Old Miss Maude, who grunted back about a lack of respect. He gathered all the post from the box and took it into his Office, slamming his door which let the help realize he was in no mood for talking to them.

He took a seat behind his desk, slamming the post down and began looking through everything.

"Bill."
"Bill."
"You may have already won..."
"Bill."
"Paternity suit."
"Paternity suit."
"Paternity suit."
"Paternity suit."
"Bill."

He sighed. Just the usual crap. But his eyes wandered to the latest coupons and advertisements. One slid out from inside it, catching his eye because he recognized the young, overly thin body and face in the ad.

"Hmm."

Reaching down, he tugged it loose. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly as he saw the picture of Erin Dunbridge, currently under contract with HDT Enterprises, posing in a picture. Modeling. And not for him.

"I don't believe it's in her contract to be posing for advertisements for stores. Even if it is one she partly owns. Hmm. I think I'll just send this.. 'Stitch in Time' a casual message."

He then yelled out for one of the boys to go find a ninja in the Red Dragon he could borrow to send a message in the middle of the night.

He hadn't really expected a ninja to be available, or open to being hired for sending a message. But when the boy came back, he entered the room and told Gnort that he did indeed have a Ninja with him.

"So then, where is this ninja?" G asked, looking about.

Then from behind him, a hand emerged from the shadows and lay on his shoulder.

"I am he. Ninja Master Tamazaki Yusuke. I understand you need my services. Is it assassination? False Evidence implanting? I would be honored to serve you."

"Well, Ninja Master Tama.. Tamask.. Master Ninja. It is nothing so stealthy. I just need to to deliver something I prepared for this low key store called 'A Stitch in Time.' Would you please leave this package on their counter to be found by morning? Oh, and don't look inside."

"Hai! I shall deliver package immediately!" the Master Ninja said and he immediately went into the shadows.

G'nort rolled his eyes. "There's no exit that way!" and flashed a light where the ninja moved. But he was gone.

"Oh he's good. I like him."

Master Ninja. That's what he was, that's what he is, that's what he probably will always be. Dressed in pitch black silk. Face covered, painted black around his eyes, he blends into the night, shadows, and against certain beasts who are colored darkly.

He traveled only when there were none present. Only in the dark alleyways. There were occasions where it was inevitable he'd have to continue on because others in the alley weren't going away anytime soon. One pair of women even seemed to be enjoying themselves so much he decided to stick around a bit. After all, his employer didn't put a time limit beyond the next morning.

Finally, the Ninja Master arrives at the Stitch. Quietly, because he was a master, he began sneaking around the back of the store and into the alley. Spying his surroundings, he knew this would be far too easy. If he had half a mind, he'd take half rate. Given his employer, it would probably be best to leave the ease of this job out of the picture.

He adjusted the dumpster so that he could quickly leap up to the fire escape, which he climbed without a sound. Difficult considering the age of the metal, but not impossible. Then, he slipped a wire into the window of the workroom, unhooking the latch and making it so he could push the window upward.

Once completed, he took the package off his back, ducking under the window and inside. This time, he was all business. No looking around at items of interest or supplies. Straight to the store.

He opened the workshop door silently, peered into the hall left, then right. He then made his way towards the stairs and began to descend. Upon the fifth stair, the board creaked and he stopped, looking around and listening for any sign the noise was heard.

It wasn't, so he continued down into the stores main room. There was no apparent security devices to hinder him, so he immediately went to the counter, delivering his parcel and taking special care to obliterate any signs that he brought it.

Just as easily and quickly as he entered, he departed, even going so far as to be sure that the upstairs window was relocked, and the dumpster in the exact position it was when he initially moved it.

He then disappeared into the shadows from whence he came.

Carley had arrived at The Stitch early as usual, before anyone else. She went about the usual routine of opening the curtains, cutting lights on, unlocking doors, then she took note of the package on the counter. That was kind of odd. To her knowledge, it didn't belong to Lydia, Erin, or Ivy. In fact, she could have sworn it wasn't there the previous afternoon. She didn't exactly get a chance to investigate further though, since the other Stitch girls were showing up to the store. So package was tucked away into the basement to be looked into later as she went about her day.

And what a good day it was. Business was booming because of the sale, and more importantly? Her ads! Yes, her ads. That's exactly what she attributed to the increase of business and profit. Not only that? But she had a chat with Lydia and was granted more responsibilities after learning about the expansion that was to take place soon. So having to deal with customers, and actually working to do a good job of it and not yell or curse at them when they insisted lime green went with lavender, she was quite the busy bee!

Then lunch break rolled around, and she retreated to the quiet confines of the basement to enjoy a blueberry drink from Eddie. That's when she spotted the package once again. Right! Smacking her forehead, she set drink aside then tore unceremoniously into the package, rolling on the balls of her feet as she did so. Peering inside she saw... newspaper shreddings? How odd. So she started tearing those out of the box, setting them aside in piles, before she pulled out what looked to be an oversized diaper.

"Ewwww... what the hell?"

By the grace of the gods though, it hadn't been used. Nose crinkled as she set that aside, then peered in the package, hoping for some sort of explanation. Ah, a note! Snatching said note out, which was made of newspaper clippings rather than written words, blue eyes danced and darted over it, widening in alarm as she read.

"Violating contracts...? Cease and desist...? Consequences...? Oiled up sumo wrestlers...!?"

Oh. Crap.

She screwed up didn't she? After her talk with Lydia about responsibilities, and.. and.. she screwed up so soon? But, no! This wasn't her fault. It couldn't be! Thinking long and hard, she could have sworn she recalled something Erin had said about contracts. With who though? ..B? D? P? ..G? ..that's it! G! So that meant Erin would have to help her clean this mess up, because she couldn't let Lydia find out. No no. And she couldn't tell Ivy, because Ivy may have tattled... so she was going to go straight to the other Stitch screw up.

Shoving note and paper and diaper into the package, she closed it up quickly, still allowing for the occasional paper to stick out the sides. Gripping the package tightly, she scurried upstairs to the first floor quick as she could.. and then she spotted Lydia and Ivy. She very nearly eeped when they looked her way.

"Nothing's wrong!!"

After her squeaky outburst, she ran to the stairs and up to the second floor, down the hall, and skidded to a halt in front of Erin's office, where she began to frantically and erratically bang on the door.

"Eri! Lemme in! We got an emergency!"
