Pretty-Pretty Princess

Post by Kallie »

Cute little peepers of violet narrowed in on the purple pony as he festered at the addition of pink bows and braids to his main. Lester was typically a good sport, but no man likes looking the part of a sissy. The little girl hardly even changed the tone of her voice as she peered at Lester.

Oh, hush... it's cute, pony."

The familiar given to Kallie by her Aunt Illusia seemed to grunt in his native tongue. The child only continued to apply her skills of beautification. Everything about Kallie was wild. The mood-changing eyes of her mother, the stubborn and outlandish spirit of her father, and the overall matter o' fact tone she had learned from days spent with Elizabeth.

Plump, little fingers tied on the last bow as the child climbed down her step ladder. Violet eyes turned a serene shade of blue with pleasure at the finished sight of her endeavors. Hands clapped together quickly as she gave a little giggle. This was more for show than for purpose. Kallie turned upon heel and headed for her closet to toss on the lovely pink tutu she had recently acquired as a present from her parents. The matching silk slippers where stepped into with care before the adorable, little princess dashed back over to look at herself in the mirror.

Lester rolled his wise eyes at the sight of the two of them matching. Even though Kallie was a little girl, Lester knew she had grown considerably since his arrival. Perhaps little girls in RhyDin just matured faster than girls from Earth. It was possible. It was, however, more likely that a little magic had been passed down in some unforseen way.

"We look pretty, pony."

The idea of them looking as well as they did played into Kallie's master plan of taking dance lessons. Anjolie had talked about enrolling her in various types of music, art, and sports classes for small children. Kallie had decided that she wanted to dance. She knew other children living nearby and from in town who were naturally born princesses. Kallie wanted to have the same things as them. Heck, she even knew a girl with wings who could flutter through the air like it was as easy as walking.

Lester trotted over to his young mistress and gave her a nudge. Kallie snapped out of her wonderland and raced over to push play on her blue-butterfly cd player. The soundtrack to one of the most recent Barbie movies was playing and the little child immediately darted back in front of the mirror where she could dance with Lester as her teacher. With enough practice the two would surely be able to convince mom and dad they would do well in ballet lessons.
