"OOC Info - In a theater, the Green Room is generally a common area or lounge where actors and theater staff can relax between scenes or during intermission, or just hang out if there's no show in performance at the time. In the context of this forum, it occurred to me that such a designation would be ideal for short posts: drabbles, posting reactions to other threads without disrupting them, and vapor play. So here it is."

ANNOUNCEMENT

Please join us in congratulating Dorian and Seren Hadley as they welcome daughter Asha Maris into the world. The baby girl was born on July 31, 2020. Both mother and daughter are doing fine. Dorian will be on parental leave until the end of September.

The following announcement is tacked up in the Green Room, along with a copy of the invitations that were sent out to all cast and crew members of the Shanachie Theater.

All cast and crew members of the Shanachie Theater companies are cordially invited to attend a holiday party to be held in the Upper Bar on December 27th from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at the Shanachie Theater.

Families are also invited to attend, and children are welcome. Refreshments will be served, and there will be crafts and games for the kids, as well as a special appearance by St. Nick.

This is our way of thanking everyone for being part of our theater family, so please come celebrate the season with all of us at the Shanachie Theater.

Tippletoe knew that the first year of a baby is an exhausting year! And so once the initial round of gifts and love had started to wind down, Tippletoe would pop in to visit Anya and Tony, offering a hand with anything they need such as laundry, cooking, or rocking the baby so the parents could go on a walk together.

The following notice is posted in the Green Room, along with a personal letter addressed and delivered to each and every member of the Shanachie's cast and crew ...

To all cast and crew members of the Shanachie Theater:

We regret to inform you that the Shanachie Theater will be closing indefinitely come January. It saddens us to have to make this announcement, but we have decided it is time to close the theater so that we can pursue other endeavors and spend more time with our families.

Please know that we care deeply about each and every member of our "theater family", and as such, everyone will be receiving a generous severance package, as well as a letter of referral. We know this may come as a shock to some, and we do not want anyone to struggle because of this decision. If anyone is having difficulty, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be more than happy to help in any way we can.

The theater has been a big part of our lives for the last eleven years, and we cherish the friends and memories we have made here. We hope you all have enjoyed your time here as much as we have, and we wish you all the best in the future. We apologize for having to make this decision, but we hope you all understand.

Again, please do not hesitate to contact us if any help is needed.
