My head was in the game even if the rest of me was lying on a beach forty-six miles away tonight, as Haru challenged Runt for the Ring of New Haven! Things started out with Runt opting to give Haru the choice in the night’s format! Runt fought for LILI, and had no other people of honor or a second, or even a banner! But who needs that when you're Runt, right? Haru had a really neat banner. It was like all black and there was a tree, and like some wolves or maybe polar bears shouting at the tree. And then like a big fiery bird was flying over the tree and it was all like schwpppmpht! Caw, cawree!

Our challenger chose the best of three format, and then things were underway! After an early trade, Runt refused to surrender a single point to the challenger, making it all the way to the 10th round before claiming the first bout for himself!
