More and more, the small one was keeping the company of the ranger known as Hawk Jahad. Caring has sprung up within her heart that had long-mourned the absence of RhyDin's Panther.

As more time was enjoyed with Hawk, the more that mind and soul weighed with the guilt of spending any of those moments in the Loft that had been meant for Panther and her.

But it would be seen by the livery owner and his son that belongings were gathered and carried out of the Loft on that second week in January. It was best that she took a room of her own again at the Red Dragon.

S'jira packed for self her mending materials, clothing, leather-bound journal, lamp, dagger and sheath, and all of the other small items known to be hers. All of them were put to the inside of a large animal pelt and rolled up well to hold her meager possessions. What was his, she gently left behind to shelves, mantle, trunk, and more.

When the packing was finished, she saw to cleaning the Loft until not a crumb was on the flooring, a speck of ash to the flagstones. The bed was made and the candles and oil lamps douse. When all was finished, she made certain that the window was closed, but unlatched.

Courage was gathered as she drew in a deep breath into her lungs. One hand brushed fingerstips against a damp cheek.

The room was looked over a last time before she left it and headed towards the inn, to the room that had been hers when she had first arrived to the realm those few years ago. Better it was, this way, it was thought.

For the past few weeks, the small one had not been seen by most.

But for those who sought to know where she was, she could be followed.

Work on the docks was still tended to, as well as the cleaning of Sid's room at the inn. Fingers still worked hard at beadwork.

There was much on her mind, with setting aside a life known as reflexive as breathing, for a tentative, heart-lifting one with the Ranger.

A note was left for him that she would soon see him again, then 'jira hurried off in the direction of the marketplace. There were a few things needed to buy.
