April & May Settings: Music Festivals and Faerie Rings

Post by Keeper of Stories »

With the change of the seasons Music Festivals are happening all over RhyDin, and Faerie Rings have appeared in The Wilds.

Music Festivals in RhyDin
Open air music festivals have been established in all quarters of the city.

Tents have been set up at the Seaside Plaza, just outside of RHYKEA. ODM artists such as Fistmelda, GumYum and the BarkYarks, and Gol'Kosh! play every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening.

On Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons you can hear traditional goblin polka in the Marketplace, featuring the Green Danube, Bree-Yark, the Grovelers, and Stixil Styx's.

In the Dragon’s Gate district, the Rhy’Din Theatre and Opera House is hosting the annual youth music festival, including musical theatre, piano, and high school bands. The schedule is posted on their website and at the doors.

The New Haven district is featuring classical string performances on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Featured performers include violinist Tippletoe Timbers, 2Ukitar, and Chrona Quartet.

In the south end of the city, Four Points features modern space-jazz groups on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoons. Come and see GalaxyRiders, Trombone Trekkers, and Rikers Riff Raff.

Last, but not least, you can find up and coming local bands of all varieties just outside The Beach Head.

Faerie Rings in The Wilds
Mystical faerie rings have sprouted throughout the mysterious stretch of forest known as The Wilds. Whether it’s the white and blue circles by the shores of Little Kaiju, pink and red rings near the ever-changing chasm or the darker more sinister circles in the depths of the dead forest --you are invited to a moonlit dance. Will you enjoy the pre-Beltane celebrations? Will you partake of the sweetest nectar and most tender offerings? Will you find your way back home after?

((We hope you enjoy these seasonal settings for April/May! Feel free to link to this post, or just add to the thread here! You can add performances to the musical festival, encounters at the faerie circles, whatever you like! If you have any questions, feel free to DM/PM any of the Roleplay Staff.))
