DUELER APPRECIATION WEEK 2020 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Monday Nov 9
Shenanigans in the Arena (8pm-12am ((ET)) staffed, 2am duels close): Hope, Jaycy and Karma serve up a lot more than drinks every Monday but this week might be extra-special with the shenanigans that may ensue! Dunk-A-Dueler (that’d be Jaycy, by the way) will run from 9-10:30pm and you’ll have the opportunity to (repeatedly) send the current Governor/Baroness into the cold wet tank!
IFL Week 2 begins with a bang! The Main Event for Deathcake and King’s Gambit kicks us off at 9:30pm ((ET)) in the Arena! Come see lovable monster Skid meet Sophia and see who brings home those sweet, sweet points! After that, at 10pm ((ET)), Deathcake teammate Caleb gets into the ring with Xiaofan!
Archmage Challenge (11pm ((ET))): Archmage Bailey Raptis will meet the latest winner of the Archmage Tournament (and designer/builder of the special rings on Twilight Isle) Mart Di’Luna! Will the most adorable mage on the Isle (Mart, by the way) be able to take the Celestial Key from one of the greats (Bailey, by the way) and become Archmage Mart? We’ll find out!

Twilight Isle Gives Back - Twin Win Night (8pm-2am ((ET))): The penultimate event in the 25 Years of Magic Celebration sees so many ways they’re giving back to their amazing patrons! First, it’s twin win night; win a Magic duel and it counts as two! Second, any duels fought during this night will count to donate 1,000 silver (per duel!) to both you and a charity of your choice. Finally, they’ll be planting a tree in the Dead Scar for each duel completed that evening! They’re truly giving back!
IFL sees another Deathcake vs. King's Gambit match at 9pm ((ET)) - Newcomer Yuzuki vs. Captain Xanth!

IFL! Doran and Morgan Chae duke it out at the same time Maggie and Shelby (both Rock Hards and New Blood respectively) an hour before (9pm ET) Hope (Real Rhydin) and Matt (Team Fist) might be fighting: 10pm ((ET))!

Tower of Air Challenge! It’s a whirlwind of a night as Karma meets Ellie for the Tower of Air on the Twilight Isle! The second of five tower challenges will be decided starting at 9pm ((ET))! Will Ellie rise or will Karma take the wind out of her sails?!
Saturday Nov 14
Fall 2020 All Ranks Tournament (8pm ((ET))): The battle to decide the next holder of Fistmelda’s Tusk is on this evening and we’re going Back to Basics! Come see the best brawlers around (sorry you underground fighting clubs) duke it out and show off those fundamental skills! Only one can win the Tusk but everyone else can get set for IFL with the secondary prizes! Sign up early or show up, it doesn’t matter as long as you’re there!

Family Day on Overlord Isle/Dance Party on Overlord’s Yacht (9am-7pm ((board event))): While the Overlord Isle will be open all week, Dueler Appreciation Week ends on a high note for families and younglings alike at this special Family Day and Yacht Party! Face painting (for little warriors), foam swords, bubble-wrapped fighting suits, and magic wands let would-be dueling stars of the future safely explore what it means to dance in the rings on the sands of Overlord Isle at this mini-carnival. Balloon animal makers and other games complete the festivities outside while the Manor and Museum inside are spick and span and already decorated for the winter season with festive garlands and four (4!!) adorned trees! Learn about the Overlords of the past and see the collected items from duelers long gone but never forgotten. Adults, feel free to walk to the end of the Isle and pay your respects at Gondar’s memorial statue, erected in honor of the first Overlord. Finally, the yacht will be moored at the Isle and a rollicking dance and pizza party will be arranged for those middle-sized to older children! Bands such as the Trevabillies and Thanks for Playing will keep everyone hopping and hopefully wear your children out!

Iron Fists League, the unarmed team-combat league, is in full swing and matches will be held through the week! Visit the IFL Garden for merchandise and maybe some spectating!
Seaside is Seeking a Squire! Baron Salvador Delahada is encouraging people under Warlord to beat on him in order to win one of the magical weapons of the Arena, the Seaside glaive! Find him Monday through Friday and get in the rings with him!
Umbra School of Magical Arts Demonstrations (various dates, times, and locations): Students at the newly-opened school on Twilight Isle take to the streets in City districts and set off a magical fireworks show sure to delight and amaze any budding archmages!
Dueler Memorabilia Signings* (various dates, times, and locations): Dueling stars and up-and-comers will be making appearances at locations in the City, some announced and some not! Come celebrate your mutual love of dueling by saying hello and even getting something signed by your favorite fighter (in whatever discipline you like)! All proceeds go to the Diamond Foundation and the Overlord Initiative.
Tour Overlord Isle/Manor/Museum (Isle open 9am-7pm daily): Current Overlord Hope Naharis has opened her granted home to the public to come visit! Manor and Museum both welcome you; stay for a song (not literally) and you just might see the OverHope there herself to say hello!
