Patrick could hardly sleep the night before the wedding, he was so excited for his sister's big day, and the prospect of gaining another sister to call his own. He wanted Mallory and Eri to have a perfect, effortless start to their day, so he brought them breakfast and coffee -- just the way they liked it. In addition to feeding some of his favorite people, he brought the wedding gift he'd been working on, with help from Penny, since they'd announced their engagement:

1000 paper cranes, or a senbazuru -- to grant happiness and eternal good luck to the couple, as well as one wish!

At the wedding, he was found in Penny's company more often than not, dancing only with her unless one of the brides managed to con him into dancing with them.

Luka and Mina arrived right on time for the ceremony (maybe a minute or two late). She sat rapt throughout the vows and joined him after in giving her congratulations to the happy couple. They stayed at the reception for some time, not often leaving each other’s side.

Mina offered to place the present with the others, although she was horrified to learn what the box held: a vessel allegedly containing a monster or demon. Supposedly it was the snake-monster Warad-Ishtar which was defeated by Malgum's pack of hyena eons ago. Malgum had his hyena chase the Warad-Ishtar into the vessel and Malgum placed the stopper on it, trapping it for all eternity or something like that. The pair may have even gotten into a whispered argument over the present before Luka was the one to place it with the rest.

Lingering at Patrick's side for most of the evening, though Penny was there to give a bit of encouragement to the tossed bouquet in the direction of Saori's waiting hands. It made Mai's sudden urge to go on a smoke break hilarious to the devious Wizard, because hey what are friends for besides fits of torment and teasing?

While she might not have been there for the wedding, she did arrive for the reception to give the newly weds the blessing of the Kabuki Zama Shrine.

Senka had never been to a wedding and she had very little gift giving experience. What did you give newlyweds?

The man at the gift shop saw Senka coming a mile away and helped her put together a gift full of "must have" items.

"To Hairy and Malerie. Have good weddin and life. Congradulashuns to yous. - Senka"

A hot dog and bun toaster.
A kitchen sponge bed.
A drunken unicorn wine holder.
A fishy yolk separator.
A shower squid to hold your bottles.
A duck bill headphone holder.

Eden was very excited to attend the wedding of Mallory and Eri. She'd been a little confused by the venue and brought her ice skates with her, but thankfully she had worn her fancy converse to the wedding so she was prepared. It made a lot more sense to her without the ice skating, but she still thought it might be fun.

She arrived with a large gift bag, nicely wrapped with mismatched pieces of ribbon and a little newspaper sticking out of it. She set this on the gift table, though only after making an attendant promise that it would not get stolen and that it would go to the brides.

A note was taped to the bag:

Happy wedding, Mallory and Eri!

Back home, we don't give a lot of gifts, but when a couple decide to make a homestead together, the community gets together to make a Love Quilt for them. Everybody sews on the bits and pieces until it comes together. And then, when someone else joins your homestead, you add more designs to the quilt so that everyone in your family has a place on the quilt.

I made your Love Quilt by myself, but I hope you like it a lot.

xoxo,
Eden

The hand-sewn quilt inside was designed on a dark gray background, with an anatomically correct blood-red heart floating in the deepest part of a snowy mountain peak. The edge design was a looping thin ribbon of the same blood-red twined with silver, the two ribbons weaving in and out. In one corner is an E and in the other is an M.

With fond memories of having "blessed" their first date, Saila wouldn't dream of missing Eri and Mall's wedding. She arrived only a tiny bit late with a handsome Hellion in tow, each dressed entirely in black.

After much discussion and research on what did and didn't constitute an appropriate wedding gift, the couple chose a spa-themed basket that would hopefully go perfectly with a lovely weekend away at the onsen.

Mingling with Jewell, Jackie, Eden, Mist, both lovely brides of course, and anyone else they happened to come across, the couple was already having a great time when A Clockwork Warlock took the stage. Saila was delighted by the surprise concert, and Hex seemed to be enjoying it too, though his smile at times stretched a little wistful. Sparing a couple of dances for some of her favorite ladies, the purple haired girl spent most of the night in constant contact with her man, and the pair of them hung out at least until the Alfa Romeo departed.

Bailey was there to do any last-minute alterations and fixes to Mallory’s dress. His own attire was designed to be maneuverable, comfortable, and conservative – in order not to upstage the brides. He wore a plain white dress shirt, solid gray tie, and dark blue trousers with shined black shoes. He cut his hair short and clean, and wore no traces of makeup.

Perhaps it was that clean-cut look, or the fact that his clothing looked a lot like a caterer’s, but he wound up being mistaken for one of the waiters that went missing at the start of the reception. Rather than correct the mistake, Bailey gladly stepped in (once he removed his tie) to help serve hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening, only sneaking out once or twice for a cigarette break well away from all the ice. He was never too far from being hailed by Roka or one of the delinquents, though, in case an emergency came up.

It's the disease of the age
It's the disease that we crave
Alone at the end of the rave
We catch the last bus home

Protect me from what I want

Phen Seer Ilnaren and Ebon Ilnaren both attended, her in a royal blue gown and he wearing a tuxedo with blue vest and tie.

Given Ebon's love of pizza, it was perhaps not surprising that their gift to the couple added a wood-fired pizza oven to their collection of culinary contraptions.

Lucy was thrilled to attend the wedding ceremony and festivities for Eri and Mallory. She came with one small gift---a bottle of champagne---and a card:

Dear Eri and Mallory,

Wishing you a long life together filled with joy and adventure!

Your gift was a bit too large and heavy to wrap. It's a five piece cast iron cook set! I hope it's something you can use and enjoy for a long time. You can pick it up using the enclosed card at the indicated address. Enjoy!

Cheers!
Lucy Huntington Mitford

She spent the evening enjoying champagne and the company of Eri and Mallory's guests. She danced as often as she could find a partner, and made merry the whole night long before departing just before the brides.

Colleen made it to the reception, but didn't stay long. A card was left on the gift table with the following message:

Eri and Mallory,

May you have a long, happy, and healthy life together.

Best wishes and love from,

Colleen MacLeod-Fenner and Family

Several members of the family had signed the card. Inside the envelope was an open ended first class five day travel, lodging, and meals package to the couple's destination of choice.
