Of the several posts made to a live cast by an anonymous viewer of the Dockside Challenge between G'nort Talanador and Terry King, two were picked up by the media as potential golden nuggets.

The first, during the match:

"Melanie, forced by team management to wear Terry King merchandise and feign support, was far too obvious in her forced cheering and her wishing of good luck. A good dueler she might be. A good actress, not. Her snarky mid-match comments of "three more!" (when Terry had two points) and "one round at a time" were less words of support and more words of derision as in: Terry, you're so stupid I have to tell you how many points to score and how to score them.

All other members of Beat Down, conspicuously absent from the Arena, speak volumes by that absence. Their selfish (yet perhaps wise) decision to stay away from the Arena, from the throng of media and from Terry King herself, whether made collectively or individually, marks a telling demarcation regarding how Terry's viewed within the team and just how dysfunctional this troupe of hormonal women have become."

The second, just after G landed the winning blow:

"Team Beat Down, by forcing Terry King to duel her challenge less than a week out of infirmary, once again demonstrates that they view her as little more than fodder. Busted knee? Put her out there! Teammate nearly killed you? Get in the ring and fight right away! Had a known addition to painkillers? We'll keep having you duel so you can miss them even more! In the end, one or two more serious injuries added to Terry King's ever-growing medical history is no skin off the Beat Down back. Quite the contrary, the team seems happy to send her out again and again and again. If she wins, the team claims an additional accolade. If she loses, it costs the team nothing. One day, Terry will figure this out on her own. Until then, her broken bones and bloody hospital sheets will stack like a fungus in what's left of her memory after the multiple thrashings."
