Freak Snowstorm

Although it was January, the weather had been pretty mild in the city for the last week. Therefore, the strong snowfall that occurred around 9:30pm RST on Saturday, January 11th took many people by surprise.

The snowstorm only lasted a few minutes, but it dumped over a foot of snow on the city.

The sky was clear at the time. Meteorologists are wondering if it has something to do with the battle happening at Seaside Beach at the time, but have yet to reach a firm conclusion.
