The ladies got off to a quick start, casting their way to 5 wins to the guys’ 1! Hikari led the way, winning both of her duels (without losing one)! Rand was the only one of the 5 guys to score a victory for their side, but he didn't qualify for the top spot because he didn't have enough duels! Only Guaire had the minimum number!

InterGender War -DoM Week 2 (1/10 – 1/16)
That didn’t last long! The guys more than made up for the deficit of the first week, catching up and then well-overtaking the ladies (we’re talking going from losing 4-1 to winning 9-5)! Rand led the pack, garnering 2 more wins (to get 3 total)! Khoom was close; he had 4 wins but a match ended in a tie for him, and ties count in the calculations! If you aren’t winning, you’re not helping your side! Hikari, the ladies’ leader, didn’t duel this week but retains the top spot by virtue of having 2 duels under her belt (which is the minimum this week). Rachael had a rough week, dropping 4, but we’re sure she’ll bounce back next week! Go Rachael!

InterGender War -DoM Week 3 (1/17 – 1/23)
The guys have the lead in all three sports but Magic is where the fight is the closest! The guys lead by only 4 duels. Four duelers (two ladies, two guys) have a solid 67%, but Khoom leads everyone with 75% (which includes 4% in bonuses)! Harris stepped up, too, winning 2 of his 3 duels (with a tie). On the other end, Kalinda has 2 of the 4 ties for the ladies, so while she’s not hindering the ladies by losing she’s not helping them either by winning! Practice, work on closing things out, Kalinda! Neo came, he dueled (once) … he lost. Better luck next time!

InterGender War -DoM Week 4 (1/24 – 1/30)
Twilight Islandians, where are you?! Sivanna, the ladies need you! The gals are losing by 9 duels in the sands (just as bad as in the Outback, actually). Hikari and Peal lead the pack for the ladies, no one else there has 50% or more. As a matter of fact, not one of the ladies in the bottom bracket have won a duel (which includes Misty!)! Harris takes the one rank for the guys, with 75%. Thanks to a lot of dueling (okay, 6% in bonuses, Khoom is right on his heels with 73%! In fact, the guys with the lowest percent in the top bracket equal the scores of the leading ladies! Ouch.

InterGender War -DoM Week 5 (1/31 – 2/6)
If you thought Swords was harsh, check this out – on the Isle, the guys have more than double the ladies’ wins! This sport has quite a few less duels but man, are the guys dominating. Hikari and Pearl keep the top for the ladies knotted up while Harris and Khoom hang out in the number one rank – Harris by virtue of only a tie and a bit of bonus percent, Khoom by a hefty 12% addition!
Sivanna is still MIA – even though it’s still early it’s getting close to time to call this one, folks!

InterGender War -DoM Week 6 (2/7 – 2/13)
All we can say is ouch; the guys have more than double the wins of the ladies (in the Arena, they have exactly double). Hikari and Pearl took the week off but no one managed to jump over them and take the top spot they’re still sharing. Harris doesn’t have a loss yet but he doesn’t have the lead! That’s what ties’ll do to you. Khoom heads the guys’ pack (by virtue of his nice big bonus, that’s what THEY do!).
Like the Arena, the ladies of the Isle need a miracle. Maybe a mass case of food poisoning?

This is the one sport where they didn’t take a break! Though by “they” we mean the guys. The women didn’t win a single match this first week of the second half. The guys, on the other hand? 11. That’s right. 11. Rachael retakes the top spot for the ladies, by the way, by virtue of Hikari and Pearl taking the week off. They drop to the bottom bracket (thanks to the duels finally lifting the minimum to four). Khoom’s top for the guys by virtue of a healthy bonus percent.
Couple more weeks like this, though, we're instituting the mercy rule.

So. Yeah. Looked this this week was the mini-break for the Isle; only two duels were fought. Of course the guys won both of them.
Can the ladies just pretend this sport doesn’t exist? This is just painful. Targets on backs, by the way, are for Khoom and Harris. DESTROY.

And we’re back! The duelers, that is. Not the ladies. This one isn’t even close. The guys have 4 short of triple the number of wins the ladies have. Ouch. Hikari returns to the top spot by virtue of getting another duel in, but she’s still only at 50%. Khoom, Mr. Dueling Machine, takes over 100% this week despite having a couple losses AND 3 ties! Someone tie him down somewhere and make him stop getting in the ring.

It’s official – the guys have three times the wins as the ladies! The biggest question for these last two weeks? Whether they can keep it up and even widen the lead! The ladies have no chance here, honestly. It didn’t help that the high-powered ladies of the Isle, Sivanna and Misty, were almost completely absent (one duel between the two of them, in fact).

InterGender War -DoM Week 11 (3/14 – 3/20)
Ouch. For those of you counting, the guys have 40 more wins than the ladies. I think it’s safe to say they’re officially not going to get past that in the last week. Hikari has a slim percentage lead over Rachael, but she hasn’t dueled in a while. Will the minimum go up and take her out of the running?
For the guys, unless Harris goes on an absolute tear it looks like Khoom’s going to take the title. There’s no trouble with the minimums for either of them , though!

Uh, yeah. GUYS WIN! (Ouch. That’s all we have to say.) The ladies seemed to get anywhere in this sport and lost by an incredible 44 duels!
Hikari was the best of the worst, getting 50% early on and holding there for the win. Khoom showed off the true value of the bonus percentages here; adding 30% in them alone! Harris never lost a duel but those ties cost him; he couldn’t overcome Khoom’s extra to take this.
Congratulations Hikari and Khoom! (And you too, guys, especially for the margin. Ouch.)
