InterGender War -DoS Week 2 (1/10 – 1/16)

No one’s perfect here (in the top bracket, at least)! The ladies came in and took some names last week, but everyone’s lost at least once in the process! The ladies gained 6 wins to the guys’ 3, making this the only sport they’re ahead in! Roderick got a lot of duels in last week, but … well … you’d almost wonder if he was working for the ladies, taking 3 losses like that all by himself! Good work, Roderick, your check is in the mail (wink wink). The top guy, Rand (the former Baron), checks in at a … slightly-less-than-robust 33%. Keep that up! Did we mention, by the way, those were the only guys to qualify for the top bracket? In contrast, of course, are Asha and Rachael. Even though they’ve lost, both of their win percentages beat the guys’ (66% and 50% respectively). And for the second week the Overlady Aya (who issued that call to battle) hasn’t stepped in the ring herself. Lastly, 6 of the 10 entrants in last night’s Warlord Tourney were ladies – we know you’re out there. Get in the ring! (Yeah, we’re looking at you Jaycy, Wyh, returnees Red and Karen, Teagan, and new Baroness Rhi.)

InterGender War -DoS Week 3 (1/17 – 1/23)

Swords exploded this last week! It seemed like it was totally the place to be – the number of duels almost tripled! Even better, some of those “big” names we’ve been wondering about showed up to the party. Tass jumped in with an annoyingly amazing 4 wins (without losing!). Jaycy stepped into the ring 4 times too …. and sucked it up, losing 3 of her duels. Aya even made an appearance (but just one), winning! Overall, the guys are totally walking on the ladies thus far, holding a solid 7-win lead. None of the ladies have 3 wins while the top three guys all do!

We know it’s still early, but it’s not looking good for the ladies!

InterGender War -DoS Week 4 (1/24 – 1/30)

Ouch. Just … ouch. The guys’ win total is almost double the ladies’. Really. 31-17. Overlady Aya finally showed up, and she shares the top spot with Asha! Of course, she lost 2 of the 4 matches, so she’s not exactly setting things on fire over here. Jaycy took a week off – smart move after sucking it up so much. Tass and Bleys head up the guys’ side by not losing! Tass gets that coveted first rank, though, by virtue of a 2% bonus!

The gap just keeps getting wider, and wider…

Aya keeps the top rank for the ladies, followed by Asha (who didn’t duel this week). The guys have this interesting thing going on – the top 6 go down in 10% increments! Evan keeps himself perfect (but just at minimum). How much longer can he go on that way? Meanwhile, overall, the guys lead the ladies by a sick 22 wins! 22! The gap just keeps getting wider, and wider…

The guys’ win total exactly doubles the ladies’. Aya’s been working hard in the rings, but she’s not doing the best at winning all her matches. Asha takes the top spot! Tass holds down the guys’ side despite taking the week off. Bleys, Felix and Evan aren’t horribly far behind, though!
