Recently we removed a member of our community for repeated violations of our harassment and toxicity guidelines. This includes a failure to heed or appreciate warnings about appropriate community behavior.

We do not make these decisions lightly. This has been an ongoing escalation spanning several months. We take the health and safety of our community members seriously. After considerable staff discussion, we determined that a permanent ban was the best course of action.

Behavior that may seem innocuous in public can still violate our community guidelines. As a rule, we're not going to go into the details of any corrective action in order to protect privacy, and we will answer any questions that we can within that framework. Please try to respect one another and be mindful of personal boundaries.
