It looks like Chrome is going deprecate XSL at some point. We do need to plan on a permanent replacement.

I was not proposing replacing XSLT with PHP. Finding another (easier?) templating system is a separate discussion.

Another option is to perform the XSLT transformation via PHP. All the .xml URLs would have to be replaced by .php ones.

This would not be a lot of work.

Amaltea had me automate the holiday logos this summer, which is why they appear on time every time now.

I can likewise automate the appearance and removal of these holiday statuses.
