Re: Bug Reports & Feature Requests
Not sure if this is the right spot, but the 20KB limit on Avatars for the forum is incredibly limiting. I spent like an hour playing in Photoshop making subtle changes to try to get it under 20KB. Once I got under 25KB it became harder and harder to whittle away at that file size. 50KB might be a l...

Re: Our Current Plans
Here is another option. Many years ago, there was talk of a title tier between Baron and Overlord called Duke. That could be used this way: Instead of permanently taking away a baronial title, have the winner of a Baron on Baron contest take over both baronies and have the right to call themselves ...

Re: Questions Regarding Chat Logs
Probably a question for Kalamere. Might or might not be related to storms and the bot being down (and the back-up bot running) during the time period.
However, Kal is out of town for a few days, so we might not see a response for him for a week or so.

Limited Time Edition...
http://duelingzone.org/jt/art/Jake_plush.png Jake plopped down into the chair behind his desk exhausted from a long day of brewing. The demands of the brewery grew with every year, especially with exports of Badsider now shipping to destinations outside of Rhydin proper. Who would have guessed it w...

Re: Folder Activity in Player Storyboards
It's that time of year! Only a handful of folders (including my own) that haven't seen a post since 2021. If you'd like to keep them active, please post again soon! Otherwise, I will look to move the following story folders into the archives before the end of the month. -Jake Forgotten Layers https:...

Re: Folder Requests, Moves & Moderator Changes
It helps if you specify the folder (so I don't have to hunt it down). Born of Flames, yes?Haru Jeong wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 4:32 pm Swear it’s the last time I’m gonna be a pain about this. Can all moderators except this account be removed from my folder and the folder moved to archives?
Thank you,
Kai.

Re: Unspoken assumptions, warded rings, and other such details
This is a past discussion, started by Sabine, regarding the alterations and additions to baronial manors over time. To date, I don't recall a master list having been started to help keep track. This is on my to-do list, but it's been hard to find the time to dedicate to it. I'd like to do what DoF ...

Re: How to Request your own Story folder
No. It's perfectly ok to have just one moderator.Robert Infinity wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 8:02 pm I have this name and another I've been posting under, both in the same storyline. There will be a third name soon. When I request a folder, do I have to name all three as moderators?

Re: Folder Activity in Player Storyboards
Skimming through the story folders, it looks like most have activity in 2021, but there are a few that haven't seen a new post since 2020! Still interested in keeping your folder? I plan to do a cull of inactive folders (that haven't seen a post since Jan 2021) by the end of the month. So, be sure t...

Re: Reduction of Baronies - Discussion
What if we allowed Warlords to challenge for vacant baronies, as soon as they are retired and for as long as they remain vacant? We could treat them as both Renegade and Forfeit, ensuring there is no grace period between challenges and engaging the Baron’s Council to elect a champion(s) to defend t...

Re: Reduction of Baronies - Discussion
Has anyone pulled stats for the number of retired titles (DoS or otherwise)? Based on Strawberry's numbers, it doesn't sound like the number of challenges is out of line with the number of titles based on a comparison across the sports. What's the retirement rate between the three sports? Do more Do...

Re: Sci-Fi Setting Discussion
When I drew up the initial draft of the current Rhydin map, with the sea to the west, I confess I was imagining a place along the coast much like San Diego. So to me, the west is sea/ocean.

Re: Sci-Fi Setting Discussion
One other thought on the proximity of Stars End to Rhydin proper. It's always been my thought that Stars End does have some distance from Rhydin. 1. Because everyone always hates to live next to the airport. 2. Because Rhydin is the epicenter of where the nexus touches and would have the greatest in...

Re: Sci-Fi Setting Discussion
I’d personally enjoy seeing both Star’s End and Yggdrasil incorporated in some way. Both are locations outside the city, and either one alone can provide more diversity to the play areas available. And part of my intention behind highlighting specific areas in my own setting writing is to allow som...
