Peter Pan's bleached-bone ghost was all grown up. Indubitably more man than child, his time away from Never Never Land had no reasons to be kind and he wore the badges of ink and nacreous scar filigrees on his luminous skin. Unmistakably androgynous and shockingly aristocratic, the tousled crown of fine platinum hair was as natural as his lean, swimmers' build; a creature of the undertow with a pair of alarmingly green eyes to see through the dark tides and sinister currents that ruled his night life.

A provocateur and an instigator, an ostensibly modern anachronism, he'd been wearing slim and fitted clothes since pre-alternative and post-punk slipping-from-the-school-yard days but it was the unpredictable array of whimsical accessories that underlined his personality. More thoughtful than sullen, the droughts of silence were contrapasso to the gush of his running consciousness flowing salty and sweet as an untrained bard's verse. She sang surrender. He rumbled rebellion.

A star but too distant and rarely seen in the day to be a Sun, he was a self-taught pianist who refused to play for audiences more abundant than one. He'd cultivated the talents of his hands through other observant lenses, eccentric mixed media installations and temporarily disobedient graffiti displays.

He'd been married once (and perhaps still was, legally). For seventeen minutes, he'd been a legitimate dead man; the reclusion of his recovery was neither unexpected nor uncharacteristic.
