Appearance:

The slender build and long pointed ears of the Estland Elves were all similar to the high elves of many other worlds; they also shared the same inclination to magic and the pursuit of knowledge, but the similarities end there, at least for Noira.

She is not highborn - if she lifts her chin it's more defiant than proud, or maybe she's just trying to make eye contact because she isn't very tall either, a whopping five feet and two inches - three inches in her hiking boots. Her skin is freckled from a youth spent in the family orchard, three years marching for the Legion, and the last two adventuring and hiking with a gaggle of tourists in tow. She always keeps her straight black hair pinned or pulled back, to keep it from spilling in front of her eyes at a key moment: spotting a trap, a treasure, or a tourist poking an owlbear on a dare.

Skills:

Half of Noira's service with the Legion was spent fighting her way through a number of pitched battles and sieges, becoming practiced at ranged battle magic, wearing and carrying her armor on long marches every day, and learning from a young age to be wary of people trying to kill her.

The other half of her service was spent researching the ancient history of the provinces her Legion marched through, translating documents and discovering the location of tunnels and tombs where valuables might be hidden away. She is an experienced dungeon-delver, stalking through dingy corridors, diving away from traps, and battling abominations for questionable rewards with the best of them.

Lately she has found work guiding tours of the less-than-dangerous ruins in RhyDin's hinterland, corralling the inexperienced away from the wilderness' actual dangers far more often than facing them herself. Gone are the armor, the homespun tunics, tattered leggings, muddy cloaks and armored boots from her adventuring days; she's taken on the trappings of 'modern' life, however much they still bewilder her.
