Born of a proud race, where the women stood tall and strong with long flowing white blond hair and majestic wings that mirrored the sunshine. They were warriors who carried the souls of the fallen, familiar with the sounds of battle and the stench of death. But Grace was doe-eyed and silent with a wild tangle of brown hair known for skirting the shadows and keeping watch. Lankier than her muscled matrons, in this lifetime she had yet to prove herself “worthy” as they said. It was difficult to say whether she had simply forgotten how, or was just "awkward.”
