Here are the official Standings for the first week of the Spring 2004 cycle in the Duel of Swords. The Spring 2004 cycle began on March 1st, 2004, and will end on May 31st, 2004. It is currently in the first month of three.

All the News that's Fit for Print:

In a surprise twist, the day before the Warlord Tournament, Baron of the Twelfth, Nicholas Overton Tyme retires his ring for personal reasons. He held the Twelfth ring for one year, four months, and twenty-three days. In that span, he defended the ring twice (Topaz Eludes and Lydia).

The first Warlord Tournament of 2004 was held on Sunday, March 8th. Nine hopeful Warlords stepped up with a chance to win either the Intercession free challenge against Shakira, or the recently vacated Twelfth ring. With a perfect 4-0 record, Bode Bojangles claimed the intercession free challenge. He has until the 15th to utilize his prize.

By virtue of placing second, rookie Warlord Jenia Aedroud claimed the 12th ring. She has yet to declare an alignment to Overlord Shakira.

Methous has once again resurfaced and is seeking a Council appointed champion to determine his challenge eligibility. That champion will remain Cassius Maximius, and as of this time, no date has been set for their match.

Registrations are still being excepted for the below-Warlord tournament to be held on March 15th. All interested parties please contact Rory (DUEL Rory@aol.com) for details.
