News: The last week of the cycle is over, and ending with it is DoM4 public testing! The new Duel of Magic begins now! The Magician rank has been removed, and the standings have been adapted to include Focuses. The old version of Duel of Magic will no longer be available to use for official duels. I know I said I'd display the effects of the standings purge on these standings, but I decided not to go out of sync. Even though the standings haven't been visibly cleared, if you had less than 1 WoL at the end of the week, you're still starting over at 0 this week. Thanks to everyone who partcipated in DoM4's creation, from brainstorming to test dueling and calling! Without all of you, this would not have been possible! Thank you!!
No new duelists. However, we do have a rank advancement, though not the usual kind. Due to the removal of the Magician rank, which drops Wizard to 10 WoL and Mage to 15 WoL, Kalinda is our newest Mage! Congratulations!
The Archmage Tournament took place on July 20th! Four duelists entered and fought in round robin format. The winner was Lem DeAngelo, who then moved on to fight Vincent V.M. Smith for the title on July 21st! The match was resolved in two duels... and the winner was Lem DeAngelo! Congratulations Lem, and well reigned, Vinny! He will surely be back for his ninth reign someday.
It's the end of the cycle, which means it's time to pass on the Ring of Klytus! Its new holder, with a 70% win ratio in the top bracket, is Rachael Wynter! Congratulations! However, as she is currently at the Wizard rank, she gains no benefit from it.
