Catering News: What better way to celebrate the coming of winter and the holidays than with sweet and savory pies from Bak’d?! Easily warmed and ready to go pies to match almost any craving are on offer this month in the Outback! Additionally, the Skybar is having a half-price special this week on green drinks!

New Challenges! Mallory gave her grant to Mart, who immediately used it to challenge Matt for ShadoWeaver! No date has been set yet.

Other Venue News! Over in the Arena, we’ve also got a challenge (and a tournament) there! Jaycy has challenged Maggie for the right to hold Dragon’s Gate! That match is happening TONIGHT at 10:30pm ((ET))! The All Ranks Tournament is coming! Spend your January 1st fighting the hangover by fighting other people! The fun starts at 8pm ((ET)) on New Yea’s Day, sign up in the basement! Duel for the Yule continues! Duel 4 or more times and get a present!

Over on the Isle, the Winter All-Ranks Tournament came and went, and Sylista took the win! Congrats! Another tournament is coming, too - the Archmage Tournament! Sign up on the Isle for the chance to unseat Bailey. That all starts January 3rd at 8pm ((ET))! Last but not least in fighting news, Eregor has been challenged AGAIN! After holding the Tower of Water for a year, Morgan LaFey has decided to help him celebrate by fighting for it! The challenge goes down on December 29 at 8pm ((ET)). Have you Broken the Ice yet?! Stamp your ticket for prizes!

IFL News - HERE COME THE FINALS!! Real Rhydin (3 seed) knocked out King’s Gambit and so they’ll be facing Deathcake (4 seed) in a battle of the underdogs (kinda). Sal vs. Gren, Caleb vs. Kheldar, Dizzy vs. Hope, and Yuzuki vs. Eden! Word is the matches will be happening tomorrow (Monday, Dec 21). Who ya bettin’?!

Outside the Rings and About Town! The holiday season is truly upon us! Happy Holidays! Parties abound and some of them seem to be inviting everyone! Put on your fanciest outfits and get your dance on! The Shanachie Theater Company is presenting How the Grinch Stole Christmas! - the Musical from December 14-26. Get your tickets today! Last but not least, there’s a book drive going on! The Governor’s Office is collecting books to share with children and shelters during the holiday season. Ask Jaycy for more information!

FISTMELDA'S TUSK: The holder of the Fistmelda's Tusk for this cycle is Mallory Maeda! ((Fistmelda's Tusk grants the holder several perks, some of which are rank dependant and and include an extra modifier for lower ranks. Please see this thread for more details.)).

Mentoring Note: ((Remember, if you have a mentor, and are under the rank of Sapphire, you get one(1) fancy/feint maneuver above your current rank's total when your Mentor is present and watching over your duel! No duelist under the rank of Emerald may have a fancy/feint total higher than five, regardless of mentor and/or Panther's Claw bonuses.))

Returning Fighters: Don't see your name on the standings, but know you had a record in the past? Check our historical record. Any fighter to achieve 1+ WoL should be on there. Once you find your name, though before a duel begins, tell your opponent and you can fight at rank. You'll be automatically reinstated in the next published standings.

Other Notes: ( I ) = Inactive. No duels in the past 90 days. Get in the ring! ( NE ) = Not elligible to challenge. An inactive duelist must be active 30 days prior to being able to challange. Also, Emeralds may challenge but once per calendar month. Note this is tracked for all ranks, but only displayed on Emeralds. Standings Removal: Any duelist inactive for more than a year shall be removed from the standings. You may request re-instatement. Glass ranked duelists with 0 WoL are removed every other cycle or so.
