Fall Cycle, Week 2

October 10th - October 16th

ANNOUNCEMENTS: DQ LXXIX took place Sunday night and saw 11 of the Outback's best fight it out for the top rank. The final came down to Hope and Blue who had fought his way up through the losers bracket after a loss in round 3. Hope had the benefit of a round 3 bye, but she was plenty ready for Blue when it came time for the final. In a short 8 round fight, Hope took the title 5-3 without the need for a second match.

The Panther's Claw tournament also took place this week and saw 12 of our junior fighters hit the rings to test their skills. In the end is was Glass ranked Hobo Hoboken who walked away with top prize. Congratulations!

IFL now has a full 8 teams and a fight schedule posted. Season fighting starts on Oct. 27th. Come out on Sunday the 26th for the season kick off parade and rally.

Word From the Diamond

Hello, is this thing on? Oh! Your new Diamond Hope here signing in for the first time to share a few things with the Outback regulars and less regulars alike! Allow me first to congratulate Hobo on their decisive win for the Panther's Claw this past evening! It takes skill to win a close fight but it takes grit to win several back to back; maybe I'll see you in the next DQ if you keep at it!

I've got some exciting events in store just around the corner for everyone and although they're not completely hashed out I can give you a little hint at one of them. I've got a wonderful mentee that you may know as Sandalio- but now I also have a vacant spot! Don't let Sandy be the lonely exclusive recipient of my punish-- teachings! I will be hosting a tournament soon with more info to come! (ps, there will be some shinies involved!)

No duelist under the rank of Emerald may have a fancy/feint total higher than five, regardless of mentor and/or Panther's Claw bonuses.))

Returning Fighters: Don't see your name on the standings, but know you had a record in the past? Check our historical record. Any fighter to achieve 1+ WoL should be on there. Once you find your name, though before a duel begins, tell your caller and you can fight at rank then be automatically reinstated in the next published standings.

Other Notes: ( I ) = Inactive. No duels in the past 90 days. Get in the ring! ( NE ) = Not elligible to challenge. An inactive duelist must be active 30 days prior to being able to challange. Also, Emeralds may challenge but once per calendar month. Note this is tracked for all ranks, but only displayed on Emeralds. Standings Removal: Any duelist inactive for more than a year shall be removed from the standings. You may request re-instatement. Glass ranked duelists with 0 WoL are removed every other cycle or so.
